Photo Friday ~ That Face!

Gypsy girl has got to have one of the cutest faces I have ever seen. Don’t you agree? She also says that everyone should check back on Monday because she’s got some possible exciting news to share!

Who's got the good news?

One of these two cuties has some good news to share with everyone on Monday. Will it be Bandit?

Photo Friday ~ The Right Shot

It’s not so easy getting “the right shot” when taking pictures of dogs, especially puppies. They tend to get excited over the fact that you have treats and want to move around and do what they can to please you. I think on Wednesday, I took over 20+ photo’s to get this great side-by-side shot of my two current fosters Gypsy and Bandit.

Final Product! Gypsy & Bandit.

Final Product! Gypsy & Bandit.

Just for the fun of it, I thought I would share with you some of the outtakes that were still good but not GREAT!

Brewer snuck into the background and the light source was blocked.

Still cute, but I wanted to get a shot where you could see the size differences in the pups.

Both dogs not paying attention t me at all!

Another great contender for “the right shot” but with Bandit slightly in front of Gypsy you couldn’t really compare the size all that well.

Like I said there, were TONS of other shots with the dogs in motion and blurry, or with my other two dogs being nosy and sneaking into the picture without me noticing. Taking tons of pictures and having a little patience goes a long way though. Sometimes you end of with an unplanned gem like the one below with my two boys (Brewer and Bailey) and my foster girl Gypsy.

**Disclaimer: I don’t claim to be a photographer by any means, I just try my best to get good pictures for the sake of this blog :)**

Gypsy and Bandit are available for adoption through Mutts Matter Rescue.  If you are interested in adopting one (or both) of these cuties please visit the Mutts Matter Rescue page and fill out an adoption application.

Photo Friday ~ Cuddle Buddies

You just can’t get enough of puppies who love to cuddle. Gypsy and Bandit can be caught at almost anytime of the day taking naps together. It is just too cute to explain without showing you some pictures, take a look!

Whether it’s cuddling on top of…

…or cuddling next too…

…they just love to lounge together whenever they get the chance!

Both Bandit (black puppy) and Gypsy (brown puppy) are available for adoption through Mutts Matter Rescue.  If you are interested in adopting one (or both) of these cuties please visit the Mutts Matter Rescue page and fill out an adoption application.

Photo Friday ~ Brewer the Beaver!

Last weekend my husband and I took the dogs with us for a small trip to the shore. Saturday morning we went to a local dock where you can crab and fish off of one side of the dock and swim on the other. Our Clicker Savvy Canine Brewer LOVES the water. Absolutely can’t get enough of it. He will swim till he can’t swim anymore (which is why he now has a life jacket). His brother Bailey on the other hand has never had the opportunity to be in water deep enough for him to actually swim, and it showed. Here are a few pictures of our trip to the dock. Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to snap a picture of Baileys first/last time in the water for the day, but I got plenty of Brewer. Doesn’t he look like a beaver swimming in the water!

Brewer swimming out to retrieve his toy!

He loves doing this and will do it for hours on end!

Bringing the toy back to mom so she can throw it again.

Taking a mini breather before going for round 2!

Photo Friday ~ Baylee Gets Her Learners

I just love getting updates and pictures from my past foster dogs new families! This week I received these two pictures of Baylee (formerly Sabrina) learning how to drive. Her new mom say’s:

“She only has her learners so that’s why she still needs an “adult” to drive with her for a while!”

Photo Friday ~ Scrub a Dub Dub Two Dogs in a Tub

Hello there! It’s been a while I know but I went on a mini vacation a couple weeks ago and came home to a sick dog suffering from stomach issues and allergy issues at the same time. I had to take care of my boy so the blog sort of faded to the background for a little while. But I’m back and it’s Photo Friday! With the allergy issues baths were our first attack in helping remove any environmental irritants on the skin. My Bailey boys is an all white boxer but when he gets wet, these cute spots magically appear and you could swear he’s was part Dalmatian in another life!

Mom, don’t take pictures you’ll embarrass me.

I don’t like it when my spots are showing.

Finally done, where’s my treat?

In this house, when one dog gets a bath so does the other. I forgot to take pictures of Brewer actually in the tub, but isn’t he super cute wrapped up in his towel after?

I love bath time but come on mom finish drying me off so I can do my after bath zoomies!

Have a great Friday everyone!!!!

Photo Friday ~ Meal Time

Clicker Savvy Canines Brewer and Bailey know the easiest and fastest way to get their dinner on time is to wait patiently outside of the kitchen. They know that their 4 paws must be on the carpet and that they must either be sitting or laying down waiting for their release cue “go eat” before they can enter the kitchen.

Is dinner ready yet mom?

When foster dogs come into our home, there is no exception. Of course the first day or two can be a little tough or frustrating and there is a lot of trial and error involved, but by day 3, 4 and 5 they know the drill! Here you can see our most recent foster pup Harley sitting patiently waiting with his foster brothers outside of the kitchen for his food to be prepared. Such good boys! Go eat!
